Fancy a delicious traditional Sunday Roast?

Just upstairs from the Dolly Blue Bar inside the Whitewater Hotel, our Sunday menu is served in the Riverside Restaurant.

Come along every Sunday from 12:00 to 19:30 for a multi-course menu including choices such as roast topside of beef, pork loin, or vegetarian alternatives, all made with fresh, seasonal ingredients and classic accompaniments.

Priced at £16 for one course, £21 for two, or £25 for three, this provides an ideal option for family meals in our dog-friendly setting – reservations advised as it often gets busy.

Our Sunday menu is served every Sunday from: 12.00pm – 7.30pm

Sunday Starters

Chicken Liver Parfait: Silky smooth chicken liver parfait, seasoned and served with toasted bread and a house chutney.

Soup of the Day: A freshly made seasonal soup, prepared daily using the best local ingredients. Served with warm bread.

Deep Fried Halloumi: Crispy golden halloumi with a soft, salty centre, served with a sweet chilli or honey drizzle.

Gambas Pil Pil Prawns: Spicy prawns sautéed in olive oil, garlic, chilli, and parsley, finished with a squeeze of lemon.

Sunday Mains

Roast Topside of Beef: Duck fat roast parsnips & swede puree, braised red cabbage, Creamy mash, tenderstem broccoli, stock pan gravy.

Roast Pork: Sage & onion stuffing, braised red cabbage, Creamy mash, tenderstem broccoli, duck fat roast potatoes, stock pan gravy.

Homemade Cheese & Onion Pie: Duck fat roast potatoes, savoury gravy, carrot & swede puree, braised red cabbage, tenderstem broccoli.

Char-Grilled Stuffed Peppers (V): Served with roast potatoes, carrot & swede puree, braised red cabbage. Savoury cous cous, toasted almonds, gremolata.

Beer-Battered Haddock & Chips: Mushy peas, tartare sauce, lemon.

Pork Sausage, Sausage & Mash: Vegetable Sausage, Creamy Mashed Potato, onion gravy. Seasonal vegetables, Stir Fry (V).

Steak & Ginger Burger & Chips: Served with slow cooked chipolata sauce.

Sunday Desserts

Chocolate Ganache Tart: Rich chocolate ganache, smooth, glossy topping, base, finished with Sticky Toffee Pudding.

Warm, rich sponge: Served with vanilla ice cream.

Rice Pudding Arancini: Crispy fried rice pudding bites with a soft, creamy centre, served Local Cheese Board.

Cheese & Crackers: A selection of locally sourced cheeses. Served with crackers, chutney, and seasonal accompaniments.
